Open for debate

There are 6 people in line at the grocery store. The manager decides to open a second register.

1. Who should be the first person in the new line ?

2. If the douchebag who's last in line is the first person to run into the new line, what is an appropriate reaction ?

Thank you for your help.

  1. who ever gets there first.

first come first serve. that's how it starts in the first place.

    shouldn't be any reaction.

  2. Well, in a perfect world where people are actually NICE TO EACHOTHER....it would be whom ever is next in line!!

  3. the first to get there, of course - some people prefer not to leave their place in line, for whatever reason. are you supposed to have a referendum? fuck that!

  4. Gribble Greeb sent this:

The 500 pound guy who smells like Cheez-its and Beam
and has a wheelbarrow full of scratch off tickets goes
first. He should be followed up with the lady with
the bald spot who has a swollen tongue and needs to
buy an obscure pack of cigarettes using food stamps.
Everyone else is in descending order of empty calories
    purchasing.

You're not only last, you should open the door for the
guy delivering milk so the person following him can
get in line to pay for his gas with an ATM card with
    no magnetic strip.

The appropriate reaction is to disembowel yourself
with a snow shovel, leaving a mess and slowing up the
line for days to come. Running off without paying for
your coffee is the most cowardly, but most reasonable option.

    PS
If a hot chick is anywhere in the line, she should
drift to the back of the longest line, thereby giving
others (including the employees) the greatest amount
of time to check her out. It's only common courtesy.

  5. Well, the least shall be first and the first shall be last, and the rough beast is snorting and the hour is passed...so, unless you're in a gun-friendly state, I would just go with the flow...

Although the guy with the scratch tickets should only go first if they are already scratched. Fair is fair.
