You tell me.
0:18 - Armstrong attacking with Sastre on his wheel with the Leipheimer group falling behind
1:33 - You can see Sastre already with the leaders
1:51 - Armstrong out of the saddle clearly attempting to get onto that group and finally makes contact
2:10 - Sastre looks over and sees Armstrong and attacks to group to get rid of him.
2:26 - Armstrong tries to stay with the group and cracks
2:43 - Armstrong looks back as if to be waiting for Levi.

Around 1:13 you see (briefly) Armstrong look back and pull over. Sastre goes away from him then - he doesn't attack, LA slows down. I think LA didn't even realize he had pulled away from Leipheimer until then. And it was Basso who attacked first when LA got to the group. Sastre countered him.
But you're right about everyone being afraid of LA.
You're claiming that Lance ( who has a radio implanted in his ass ) didn't realize that he had dropped Levi for over a minute ? And even if that's so, why did he then reaccelerate to get back up to that group ?
And I woudn't call Basso standing up on his pedals an attack. But that point is moot, the fact is the attack dropped Armstrong, he didn't sit up and wait.
@ 0:45 you can clearly hear the guy doing the commentary say "Levi has a problem" and then something about "taking it up his ass"
and none of this bodes well for contador in the tour - and to make matters worse, armstrong should also "own" the team by then.
Who was going to radio to LA that he had dropped Levi? I doubt anyone knew it except Levi. It looked to me like he realized he dropped Levi (or maybe he heard it then), paused, then said fuck it and went up to the group. And yeah, then he got dropped. And Basso clearly accelerated just before Sastre attacked.
Yep, today LA said, Levi? Levi who?
